Here are a few links to U.S. Senators that made the explicit comparison between Iraq and Vietnam prior to Ted Kennedy’s recent remarks. While they may not have advocated explicit removal of Bush because of Iraq, it isn’t reading too much into things to see they were arguing that Iraq could become “Bush’s Vietnam.” I’ve given the dates to offer some perspective.
