Tonight over forty people attended Rob Freedman’s fundraiser at Skuddlebutt’s in Downers Grove. The candidate, and Tinker Harvey, who was honored tonight were both well received. Rob discussed the need to improve customer service in the Office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court, update its technology and better educate the public about the Office. He also spoke movingly, and with a bit of humor, about the inspiration and assistance that Tinker has given not only him, but Downers Grove Township and DuPage County.
A number of supporters pointed out that one source of excitement in Rob’s campaign is that he is running for an open seat. Democrats countywide see Rob as the type of candidate that in this race may end up taking the prize in November. Rob can use your financial help in making it happen. Thank You all for attending the “Rob Freedman Fundraiser” tonight. We had over 40 people in attendance. Thanks also goes out to Eddie Gall’s who put on a great dinner for us (so I hear).
This is just the beginning of a long and wonderful campaign. We need your support now and throughout the year to make this happen. We will win in November!
