The Naperville Sun is now soliciting stories about local soldiers serving in the “war against terrorism.” I hope people will submit stories that tell not only of the bravery of their loved ones and friends, but also of the reality they face. There are a lot of people far from home, many of them reservists, who never dreamt that they would serve a year or more overseas in a war. We owe them, their families and friends our sincere gratitude for their sacrifice, and we owe it to them to get them back here as fast, and as safely, as possible.
