Political Wire reports that Lee Iacocca, the Chrysler turn-around president that endorsed Bush in 2000, has thrown his support to Kerry this time around. It will be interesting to see what other old economy, big business types will join Iacocca in endorsing Kerry, since much of Bush’s support (he gives and they give) comes from large old-line businesses (oil, metal, railroads, defense (Halliburton), etc.). The latter connection between old-line big business and the Bush Administration I got from NPR today from an author who wrote a book that had the “Right” as part of its title. I have been unable to find it on the NPR site, sorry.
