Unfortunately the "comment spam" I've been getting has increased by quite a lot, and between that and the holiday timing, your message got buried. I agree that one (of the many) problems with the George W. Bush presidency is that satire is too easy - and looks too much like actual policy. If you look at the category section of my entries I always will have "Humor" listed when it's satire. Thank you for the comments - and please do feel free to comment on my blog whenever something strikes you. I appreciate thoughtful criticism as well as praise.
