I met Debra Shore, editor of Chicago Wilderness Magazine, at my first Chicago Dean meeting in the spring prior to the 04 presidential primaries. I’ve stayed in touch and, if the family health stays ok (long story, but we’re ok and my wife is recovering), plan to make it to see her speak at the Pierce Downers’ Heritage Alliance Annual Meeting, Wednesday December 1 at 7:00 - 9:00 PM in Room 503 at Lincoln Center, 935 Maple Ave. (Maple just east of Main St. in downtown Downers Grove - free parking behind the center).
