According to today’s Naperville Sun, Illinois State Representative Jim Meyer, fresh off his recent website launch of “Save Our OBs,” where he cunningly adopted the pseudonym “Ruth Munson” - not to be confused with Illinois State Representative “Ruth Munson” of Elgin - is back at it with a new website, according to the Naperville Sun, which received a faxed press release from his Plainfield district office. Joining with other GOP candidates in the new site, SaveOurDermatologists.com, Meyer is hoping to maintain the momentum of his task force created last year, “Illinois By The Skin Of Our Teeth,” which met once at a local dentist office before its legislative authority expired. Meyer denied to the Naperville Sun that his change of focus to dermatology was a result of a retainer he got at the meeting.
And to think, some have called this cutting-edge Naperville state representative Sleepy!
Despite the admirable Republican attempt Meyer leads to cover a few medical specialties, some say that there is in fact a health crisis that requires a comprehensive, sincere approach. Wouldn’t it be great if Meyer and others adopted that approach as their specialty?

I remember when you were happy man, what happened?

When I saw the Naperville Sun article on Meyer it struck me as preposterous. My response was not written in a bitter way (nor an “unhappy” way) - it was meant to be satirical, critical and argue for real healthcare solutions (as I’ve argued for before). That said, your comment suggests I may not have translated my intent well, which I regret.
Under the “for what it’s worth” section, I’m quite critical of Democrats who also failed to reform healthcare (when they had the votes) during the Clinton Administration - and this inability to find an affordable healthcare solution may well have been a major reason why Democrats became a minority party. To me there is plenty of partisan blame on both sides to go around.
I appreciate your criticism, take it to heart and will be more circumspect with my approach to communicating.
