12 - 3:30 PM -> John Laesch Voter Identification Training in DeKalb. Afterwards you and yours can go to O’Leary’s Eatery and Pub downtown on Lincoln Highway (aka Rt 38) and grab a burger and a pint!
Saturday, Jan 28
6 - 9 PM -> Ruben Zamora New Years Party Fundraiser in Sandwich where you can expect food, fun and conversation. Some of you will get a small road trip out of it - and you’ll know where to go (more or less) for the Sandwich fair this fall - running since 1889, this DeKalb County Fair is the oldest continually running fair in the state!

2 - 4 PM -> York Township Candidate Forum - Illinois 6th and 13th Districts - all the congressional candidates from the 6th and 13th District have confirmed - which may be a first. See them all and take someone special. Afterwards you can go to…
6 - 11 PM -> John Laesch’s it’s “No longer a Surprise” Birthday Party at Synergy, 243 Roosevelt Road in West Chicago. Food, cash bar, games, door prizes, live entertainment and a silent auction. Couples pay $50 - a savings of $7 each if you don’t go stag. RSVP to Barb (barb@john06.com) and she’ll hook you up.
