Indian Prairie District 204 boundaries continued to be discussed by the school board with tremendous resident interest and involvement. According to the Daily Herald last night’s meeting attracted over 700 people - 121 of whom signed up to speak. The board will meet again at 7:30 PM Wednesday, Jan 25 in Neuqua Valley auditorium, 2360 95th Street - and they may decide at that meeting to meet again the following day (Thursday).

I have marked the two new proposals presented last night with “*New*” for clarification.
Option 1
Neuqua Bound Schools: Builta, Clow, Graham, Kendall, Patterson, Spring Brook, Welch and Wheatland.
Waubonsie Bound Schools: Brooks, Georgetown, McCarty (west of EJ&E RR tracks), Peterson, Steck, White Eagle and Young
New High School: Brookdale, Cowlishaw, Fry, Gombert, Longwood, McCarty (east of EJ&E RR tracks), Owen and Watts
Option 2
Neuqua Bound Schools: Builta, Fry, Graham, Kendall, Patterson, Spring Brook, Welch (south of 87th) and Wheatland.
Waubonsie Bound Schools: Brookdale, Brooks, Georgetown, McCarty (west of EJ&E RR tracks), Peterson, Steck, Watts (Lehigh Station) and Young
New High School: Clow, Cowlishaw, Gombert, Longwood, McCarty (east of EJ&E RR tracks), Owen, Watts (excludes Lehigh Station), Welch (north of 87th) and White Eagle.
*New* Option 3 (aka 2B, from Board Member Bruce Glawe according to the Daily Herald) - takes “favorite” #2 and spreads lower achieving schools between Waubonsie and the new high school. Enrollment figures under this plan are Waubonsie (3,032 students), Neuqua (4,087 students) and the new school (3,040 students), according to the Naperville Sun.
