In today’s Chicago Tribune reporter John Biemer reports that Democrat Tammy Duckworth has an upcoming fundraiser with former president Bill Clinton headlining October 23. Republican Peter Roskam, who has brought in numerous members of the Bush Administration (including Vice President Dick Cheney, U.S. Commerce Secretary Carlos Gutierrez, U.S. Labor Secretary Elaine Chao and Laura Bush), will drag in the Disaster in Chief himself, President George W. Bush, October 12.
Ok, I’m not a big Clinton fan, but given the choice, which president would you want at your fundraiser? [Hint - go for the guy who isn’t breaking records with low approval ratings because of total incompetence and complete failure.]
