A report from the 6th Congressional District, Bloomingdale, Illinois:
“Last night, during the coffee for the taping of the Today Show segment, a woman in the crowd started asking Tammy a question about the troops in Iraq and then told us about her brother, who is there as a bomb diffuser, for his fourth tour. She loves her brother, her best friend. Her obvious great concern for him and her overwhelming emotions caused her to tear and cry during her attempt to ask her question. Tammy then got up off her chair and walked to the woman, hugged her for a long moment. There were audible sighs and sniffles in the crowd while this happened, and then applause. This photograph catches that moment.”
