While their endorsement of Governor Rod Blagojevich in the race is one thing - I was surprised to read “Blagojevich is the only Illinois Governor ever endorsed by the Sierra Club.” It might have been interesting for the governor’s campaign to use this in their advertising (unless I’ve missed it) as part of a series of endorsements in the same ad. Clearly the governor race is a campaign where citizens are looking for reasons to vote for somebody- being pro-environment is one.
