Dan Johnson-Weinberger knows Illinois progressive politics through involvement as an activist, blogger, lobbyist and staffer. Locally in DuPage he has acted as an attorney (sometimes pro-bono) for candidates and the DuPage County Democrats. Dan’s putting on a half-day workshop September 21 on How to “Develop An Ask” - taking an organization’s mission and creating actionable public policy proposals from it. In other words, how to turn your mission into legislation. Dan’s designed it for non-profit advocates and civic activists among others.
