Democrat Jill Morgenthaler has secured the AFL-CIO endorsement in the 6th Congressional Democratic primary. While Morgenthaler is the presumed favorite in the primary fight against Stan Jagla, she entered the race late, and the union endorsement may provide a boost to her campaign operations. The AFL-CIO endorsement is the first major endorsement in the 6th Congressional Democratic race.

I know a person who worked for IEMA when the colonel was leading the Homeland Security charge there. She did not leave a favorable impression on her co-workers there and it was felt that her word was questionable. Endorsement without background checking, especially with those who work with a person, not his/her cheerleaders, would appear to be folly.

She really listens and works hard to find plausible solutions. I wouldn’t hesitate to vote for her. She will represent her district well.
