The American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME’s) endorsement of Democrat Bill Foster is a big show of labor support for Bill and, coming on the heels of John Laesch’s AFL-CIO endorsement, gives Foster major labor credibility. AFSCME clearly recognizes the organization that Bill Foster has created, with AFSCME Executive Director Henry Bayer saying, “Bill Foster has what it takes to run a strong campaign and bring a new direction to Washington.”
