Just an observation - when there’s only one political race going on locally, and both sides can afford lots of TV ads, you actually seem to notice the commercials more (I certainly do). Not a rocket science observation - but if you draw the conclusion out a bit, my guess is both Democrat Bill Foster and Republican Jim Oberweis are getting much more exposure per commercial for the March Special Election than they might normally expect in the 14th District. The quality of the commercials probably has greater impact than normal. It’s an ad guy’s dream!
