“Any Similarity Between The Oberweis Campaign And The Truth Is Pure Coincidence”

The quote comes from today’s Chicago Tribune editorial “Meet the Wadsworths” about Jim Oberweis making up four “families” in a flier attacking Bill Foster. But what about the other content in the flier? From the Tribune:

“By the way, using Oberweis’ calculations, the Wadsworths must be paying $34,250 in taxes on their $73,000 income. And that’s before the $8,905 increase.

They really need a new tax accountant.

Oh, that’s right. They’re not real.”

I guess that’s a difference between Bill Foster and Jim Oberweis. While Bill works to address the real challenges real families face in the 14th district, Oberweis plays “make believe.” Do you want real families and real challenges represented in the 14th District - or fake ones? When you vote Saturday that’s your choice. Be real! Vote for Bill Foster. He’s real.
