John McCain is against improving education benefits for veterans because it could affect military retention rates. What do you even say about a policy amounting to ‘keep ‘em down and they’ll stick around’? Horrifying? Accurate? Cynical? Exploitive? Whatever it is - it isn’t what any decent person would call “patriotic.”

Dear friends-
I don’t know about that? I want to answer the new story by Steve Kierstead on Sen. Mc’Cain and his issues.
FIRST, IN RESPECT TO STEVE, THE CLAIM THAT MC’CAIN IS HAWKISH TOWARD THE WAR IS WRONG I ask? what is wrong with being pro- American?
I don’t like war as much as the next guy. 9-11-01 got use into this and we are stuck there like it or not. The answer is fight to win. Not have this come here. We have to fight and let terrorist know we are not to be pushed around. McCain want to win and is American.
MC’CAIN IS PRO- LIFE AND THAT IS TERRIBLE. No. Life is life. This is from the first day of the “making” if I may say. That is God’s way and we can’t be God. Liberals may think otherwise but read your Bible.
Finally, in respect, Sen. Mc’Cain has experience and the know how of how to move forward. We need a president who will put our country first, not divide it up.
