Connelly was barely a year into his term as board member when he decided to run for state rep. The intelligent voters of DuPage will not stand for the current problems caused by Democratic Party rule in the governor's mansion (or should I say some Chicago home). Oh please, Robert, it’s absurd to compare the conflict within the DuPage County Board with the shenanigans in Chicago/Cook County/Springfield. Connelly is a well-seasoned lawyer, and will do well in Springfield to help the Illinois House battle the ultra-corrupt Blago administration. It may be a Democratic year, but not to those elected officials in the general assembly.
