While it's true that for tax purposes Cindy and John seem to keep their finances separate, it's also true that Cindy McCain's money (or her Dad's before her) clearly has financed (from the beginning) John McCain's political career. I do think you’d be on much more solid ground, Robert, if Cindy McCain’s financial information was released. While it’s true that for tax purposes Cindy and John seem to keep their finances separate, it’s also true that Cindy McCain’s money (or her Dad’s before her) clearly has financed (from the beginning) John McCain’s political career.
